1.8 Million Ninja Foodi Multi-Cookers Were Just Recalled Due to Burn Hazard—Here’s What to Do With Yours

If you own a Ninja Foodi, you’re going to want to read this. SharkNinja just announced a recall of 1.8 million Ninja Foodi OP300-series Pressure Cookers/Tendercrisp Air Fryers. The reason? There have been reports that the pressure-cooking lid can be taken off while the food is still pressurized, resulting in burn injuries from the hot contents in the cooker, according to the recall notice from the company and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

To see if your Foodi was impacted, check the rating label on the back of the unit for the model number.

If you have one of the following model numbers, your Foodi is part of the recall:

• OP300C
• OP301
• OP301A
• OP301C
• OP302
• OP302BRN
• OP302HAQ
• OP302HB
• OP302HCN
• OP302HW
• OP305
• OP305CO
• OP305CCO
• OP350CO

The products were sold in the U.S. and Canada between January 2019 and March 2025 at major stores, including Amazon, Costco, Sam’s Club, Target, Walmart, and online.

If your Foodi is part of the recall, do not use the pressure-cooking function until you can get the replacement lid. (You can still use it on the other settings, such as slow-cooker or steaming.) You should throw out your current lid, and fill out this form to get a new replacement lid that will stay locked sent to you free of charge.
