7 NBA Players Named New David Yurman Ambassadors: Exclusive Interview

It’s official: NBA players Kyle Kuzma, D’Angelo Russell, Jalen Green, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kevin Love, Josh Hart and Seth Curry have become David Yurman’s newest global ambassadors to promote luxury jewelry for men, specifically the three signature collections: Curb Chain, Chevron and Spiritual Beads.

The partnership celebrates style as a form of self-expression both on and off the court, and the way jewelry can elevate any look with its aesthetic and sentimental value. David Yurman’s men’s category first launched in 2004, and 20 years later, this campaign reinforces the brand’s position at the forefront of designer jewelry.

In honor of the announcement, THR spoke with Kevin Love of the Miami Heat, Josh Hart of the NY Knicks and Seth Curry of the Charlotte Hornets to learn more about their connection to fashion and what’s to come this year.

First and foremost, the players’ go-to pieces: Kevin Love’s is the Curb Chain collection and the signet ring engraved with his daughter’s initials. “Whether it’s a sleek, fitted blazer paired with well-tailored pants, or a casual ensemble elevated by a subtle accessory, like a David Yurman Curb Chain, I aim for a look that balances comfort and effortless style,” Love tells THR.

Josh Hart’s go-to items are the Cable Cuff Bracelets and Spiritual Beads. “I like classic pieces that never go out of style,” Hart explains. “I can wear them for everyday life, the tunnel, a night out, any time.”

Seth Curry, who has been a David Yurman collector for years, says his signature look is a few rings with a pair of diamond studs. “They make the perfect addition to a simple outfit to elevate the entire fit,” the athlete tells THR. He actually got his first pair of diamond earrings from brother and fellow NBA player Stephen Curry.

As for what each athlete has been up to during the offseason, Love’s main focus has been on family and training in addition to the Kevin Love Fund, his foundation that provides a free mental health curriculum for middle, high school and college students.

Hart has been focused on his podcast Roommates Show hosted by himself and teammate Jalen Brunson, while working out and spending time with family. “We’ve been having a ton of fun with it and have some great guests coming soon,” Hart says of the podcast.

“Right now, I am most focused on being ready and healthy again for next season … cannot wait to get back on the court,” Curry tells THR. “So happy to have been able to be back in my hometown, Charlotte, last season … It’s unreal to be able to play in front of those fans, the fans I grew up with and being back in Queen City.”
