Trader Joe’s is one of the most popular grocery store chains in the country, and its rise is showing no signs of slowing down. With that said, it’s no surprise that the company is already planning to unveil a slate of new stores across the country, with many openings for 2025 already completed or in the works. We rounded up the current list of 2025 Trader Joe’s store openings below, and we’ll add to the list as more new stores are announced.

New Trader Joe’s Locations in 2025
Hoover, Alabama
This Trader Joe’s location—Alabama’s third—is scheduled to open on May 14, 2025. Once open, it will sell an array of TJ’s meals and snacks, as well as beer and wine.

Washington, D.C.
The District of Columbia is already home to several Trader Joe’s stores, but this outpost, which is slated to open on May 15, is the first one in the Brookland neighborhood. Also called Little Rome, Brookland is home to the Catholic University of America.

Tarzana, California
California has more Trader Joe’s locations than any other state, but this store is the first TJ’s outpost in Tarzana—a suburb of Los Angeles. It opened its doors on May 6, and has a designated parking lot for shoppers.

Murfreesboro, Tennessee
Since Murfreesboro is the largest suburb of nearby Nashville, it’s about time the city got its own Trader Joe’s location. This store sells beer and wine, in addition to TJ’s favorites, and is already a hit with Murfreesboro residents.

Seattle, Washington
When this store opened in the Greenwood neighborhood of Seattle earlier this year, it became the city’s sixth Trader Joe’s outpost. Since Greenwood is known for being family-friendly, we have no doubt that this Trader Joe’s will be very busy.

McKinney, Texas
Located approximately 32 miles north of Dallas, McKinney, Texas will finally get a Trader Joe’s later this year. While no opening date has been announced yet, shoppers can expect to find popular items like the Mandarin Orange Chicken and Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate, as well as plenty of beer and wine.

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Myrtle Beach is a popular South Carolina beach town that draws visitors from nearby cities and beyond. The destination has been without its own Trader Joe’s, until now. While no opening date for this store has been set, locals and visitors alike are bound to appreciate the new grocery store.

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Believe it or not, the capital city of Oklahoma doesn’t yet have a Trader Joe’s. However, that will all change later this year when the first (and hopefully not the last) Oklahoma City store opens its doors.

Exton, Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania residents living in Exton will soon understand the magic of Trader Joe’s, when the Philadelphia suburb gets its first TJ’s later this year. Unfortunately, this location won’t sell alcohol.

Westminster, Colorado
If you live in Westminster—a suburb of Denver—you’re in luck! According to the Trader Joe’s website, Westminster will be treated to its first TJ’s later this year.

Boston, Massachusetts
Boston is already home to three Trader Joe’s stores, but a fourth (in West Roxbury) is slated to open later this year. If you want alcohol, however, you’ll have to go to the TJ’s on Boylston Street, which is the only outpost in the area that sells beer, wine, and liquor.

Glenmont, New York
While there are a handful of Trader Joe’s stores in the Capital Region of New York, this outpost is the first in Glenmont. No opening date has been announced, but the Glenmont store is expected to open later this year.

Woodbridge, New Jersey
This Woodbridge Trader Joe’s, which will open later this year in Iselin, will be the fourth TJ’s location in central New Jersey. Shoppers will have to go elsewhere for alcohol, however, as this store has no plans to sell beer, wine, or liquor.

New Orleans, Louisiana
When this Trader Joe’s store opens in New Orleans later this year, it will be the first in the lively Louisiana city. The outpost will be located on busy Tulane Avenue, just 10 minutes from the Tulane University campus.

Yucaipa, California
This Trader Joe’s is slated to open later this year just east of San Bernardino, California. Once open, this outpost will be one of the few TJ’s stores to sell beer, wine, and liquor. Cheers to Yucaipa!

Tracy, California
Further north, Trader Joe’s will open its first outpost in Tracy, California—the second most populated city in San Joaquin County—later this year. Like the TJ’s in Yucaipa, this one will also sell beer, wine, and liquor.

Sherman Oaks, California
Once this store opens in a few months, the residents of Sherman Oaks will have two Trader Joe’s locations to choose from. Interestingly, the existing location is just a few doors down from this one.
