The 44-year-old also reflected on the impetus of her and Danielle’s disagreement, which was whether Danielle had unfriended and, thus, not seen a message from Maitland via Facebook that she had sent in 2013.
In response to Danielle claiming on the podcast episode that she probably unfriended her without much thought, Maitland expressed, “OK, well that makes me feel really great that that’s how you’re coming on to tell me this—basically you hate me more than I even realized.”
Elsewhere on the podcast episode, Danielle had expressed surprise for being invited to Maitland’s 2006 wedding to husband Terry Baxter, a sentiment that Maitland was also hurt by.
As she put it, “I really genuinely liked her and wanted her to come to the wedding.”
And while the Rated X author isn’t against reappearing on Pod Meets World to clear the air, she expressed confusion for how Danielle approached her at the end of the recent episode, adding, “I’m not saying that I’m perfect at all, but I would never have gone at her like that, never in public like that.”
E! News has reached out to reps for Danielle regarding Maitland’s latest comments but has not yet heard back.
