Brad Pitt is breaking his silence on finalizing his divorce from Angelina Jolie after eight years.
The 61-year-old F1 actor opened up in an interview with GQ, out now.
During the discussion, Brad was asked if he felt “relief” when he and the 49-year-old Maleficent actress legally settled their split in December 2024.

“No, I don’t think it was that major of a thing,” he said.
“Just something coming to fruition. Legally,” he added.
The two finally settled their divorce at the end of 2024, eight years after Angelina initially filed for the dissolution of their marriage in September 2016.
The exes share six kids: Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 19, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16. None of the children are on speaking terms with Brad, and several of them have even opted to drop his last name.
Angelina‘s lawyers said in a statement at the time of the finalizing of the divorce: “More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt. She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr. Pitt, and since that time she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family. This is just one part of a long ongoing process that started eight years ago. Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over.”
Brad‘s rep declined to comment on or confirm the settlement at the time.
