Camila Cabello has new music on the way and she’s seemingly singing about someone who wronged her in the past.
The 27-year-old singer previously dropped her album C,XOXO back in June 2024, but none of the songs charted that well and it seems Camila is taking her music in a new direction with her latest song.
“Godspeed” was teased on Camila‘s Instagram account on Friday (August 30) and the release is just one week away. She has already shared a lyric from the song!

“i wish you well, but far away from me,” Camila captioned her post, adding that the song is going to be released on September 6.
Could the song be about Camila‘s ex-boyfriend Shawn Mendes? Or what about his ex Sabrina Carpenter, who seemingly sang about them on her new album? All three of them will be performing at the MTV VMAs on September 11.
Fans think that Sabrina‘s new song “Taste” is all about her alleged love triangle with Shawn and Camila, so “Godspeed” could very well be the response track.
