Chrissy Metz is sharing an update on her co-star Mandy Moore after she lost her home in a fire earlier this year.

44-year-old Chrissy appeared alongside 41-year-old Mandy in the dramatic series This Is Us.

While speaking to Extra on Friday (July 18), Chrissy shared an update on Mandy six months after losing her home in the fires that ravaged Los Angeles earlier in the year.

According to Chrissy, Mandy and her family are “doing well” following the loss as they work on rebuilding their home. She told the outlet, “A lot of the structure was able to be salvaged, which is great, but it’s so jarring. It’s so life-altering, and she has children and pets. It’s just frightening because there’s nothing you can do but hopefully get out of there.”

In January, Mandy shared a series of images on her Instagram sharing the aftermath of the fire that destroyed much of their home. In the caption, she shared that the main structure of the home was “mostly intact.”
