Coors Light Releases the Coors Light Chill Jersey

Coors Light Releases the Coors Light Chill Jersey

Coors Light is here to keep things chill. But seriously.

On Monday, Coors, the official beer of Leagues Cup, released its first-ever cooling soccer jersey, called the (you can probably guess) Coors Light Chill Jersey.

“Anyone who has watched a soccer match knows how heated it can get, especially as your favorite teams go head to head,” Katie Feldman, director of marketing for the Coors Family of Brands, shared in a statement. “Between the second Leagues Cup tournament to soccer events happening across the globe, Coors Light is here to keep fans chill and with their favorite beer and a jersey that keeps them cool.”

According to a press release, the jersey, part of Coors’ larger “Refresh the Game” campaign, has built-in thermal sensors that detect when the wearer’s body temperature rises, activating a cooling system to keep the person cool.

“The Coors Light Chill Jersey embodies the excitement and intensity of the most unique soccer tournament in the world while ensuring fans can stay cool and enjoy every moment of the action,” Sana Shuaib, a senior vice president at Soccer United Marketing, added. “This innovative jersey not only showcases the spirit of the game but also brings a new level of engagement to our passionate soccer community.”

Those looking to snag one of the jerseys can head to thechilljersey.com, where Coors is selling them for $50 each. However, you’ll need to act fast, as Coors only made 90 jerseys in total.

Thankfully you’ll have a few chances to buy one — the first drop will take from from June 17 to June 21 starting at 12 p.m. Eastern, with 18 jerseys available on June 17, 14 jerseys on June 18, 10 jerseys on June 19, and eight each on June 20 and June 21. The second Chill Jersey drop will occur from July 16 to July 19, starting at 12 p.m. Eastern, with eight jerseys available per day while supplies last.

That’s not all Coors Light is doing this summer. The beer brand is hosting a sweepstakes to win a trip to the Leagues Cup championship match, which you can also enter at thechilljersey.com.
