Dan Spilo made headlines in 2019 when he became the first Survivor contestant to be ejected from the game due to inappropriate behavior and now the Hollywood talent manager has lost his most important client.
THR is reporting that Dan was dismissed from his role as the manager of Reacher actor Alan Ritchson and removed from his position as a producer on the actor’s upcoming film Runner.
The outlet notes that Dan “helped build a mini empire around the actor,” but those “heady times came crashing down last week on the Australian set of Runner, with Ritchson suddenly cutting ties with his longtime manager.”

Deadline reports that Dan was involved in incidents on the Australian set of Runner. Sources “cited inappropriate behavior that included bullying and inappropriate behavior that included yelling at crew. His dismissal on the film came after an HR investigation, and the Jack Reacher star parted ways with the manager at the same time. This all happened a week ago.”
The Deadline source added that the “situation on Runner was not an isolated incident, pointing to his exit from Survivor as just one example.”
Dan previously worked with Emmy-nominated actress Joey King until she quietly parted ways with him in 2023.
THR reports that Joey split from Dan and pushed him out of her production company over “financial irregularities.” Sources close to Dan claim “the irregularities were due to an accounting error.”
