Don’t expect to see Taylor Swift make an appearance at the Democratic National Convention this week.
Even though Taylor will be wrapping the European leg of her Eras Tour in time to fly to Chicago for the convention, a source is opening up about why she’s not going to be there.
After Taylor endorsed the Biden-Harris ticket in the 2020 election, it seems like a no-brainer that she supports the Harris-Walz ticket for the 2024 election, but she has not yet officially said anything about the election this year.

A DNC source told Deadline, “Everybody loves Taylor, but having her here would overshadow everything. Think about it, no one would remember a word the Vice President said in her acceptance speech. All the headlines would be about Swift. That doesn’t help us right now.”
This past weekend, Republican nominee Donald Trump falsely claimed that Taylor had endorsed him for president by sharing an AI-generated photo of her.
