Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt are honoring the real-life inspiration of their upcoming movie.
Dwayne, 53, and Emily, 42, were in Las Vegas for the UFC Hall of Fame Induction of Mark Kerr on Thursday (June 26).
Dwayne plays Mark in their upcoming biopic about his life, The Smashing Machine, while Emily plays his first wife, Dawn Staples-Kerr.
At the event, Dwayne presented the real-life inspiration for his upcoming film with a trophy to commemorate his induction into the Pioneer Era Wing of the Hall of Fame.
Prior to his retirement, Mark was a two-time UFC Heavyweight Tournament Champion among a variety of other achievements in the world of mixed martial arts. The Smashing Machine is being produced by A24 and will detail Mark‘s life and MMA career with Benny Safdie directing the movie.
