Dylan Minnette is setting the record straight on his absence from the screen!
The 28-year-old actor and musician appeared alongside his band Wallows on Jake Shane‘s podcast, Therapuss, on Wednesday (July 2).
Even though Dylan has been focused on making music, he says that he’s not ready to leave the acting world behind just yet.

“I think there was a weird narrative that’s gone around that I quit acting, but I never felt that or said that,” Dylan said during the podcast episode. The 13 Reasons Why actor has been focused on his music career since he appeared in 2022′s Scream, but he says that doesn’t mean he’s quit acting.
“I feel like I’ve had a desire to do it again in some regard, and if the right thing comes along, then the right thing comes along,” the Wallows frontman shared during the podcast episode.
This isn’t the first time Dylan has talked about shifting his career away from acting.
