Former Los Angeles Rams receiver Demarcus Robinson was sentenced to three years of probation, ordered to pay a $390 fine and to complete a series of programs after he pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor DUI, according to The Orange County Register.
This sentencing stemmed from a Nov. 25, 2024, arrest in Los Angeles when officers pulled Robinson over for driving “more than 100 mph.” On top of the misdemeanor DUI, Robinson was also charged with driving with a 0.08% blood alcohol content or higher and driving without a valid license. Those two other charges were dismissed, though, according to his attorney, Jacqueline Sparagna.
Robinson, who signed with the San Francisco 49ers this offseason, played two years with the Rams.
These legal woes likely played a role in why the Rams didn’t bring Robinson back in 2025. General manager Les Snead told reporters in March that Robinson “does have some things that he’s gotta work through legally [this] offseason that could prevent play time in the future, so that’s the reality.” It’s unclear if Robinson will be suspended by the NFL, though.
Robinson, who’ll be 31 in September, caught 57 receptions for 876 and 11 touchdowns in 33 games for the Rams. He has caught 250 receptions for 3,013 yards and 27 touchdowns throughout his nine-year career.
