Fantasy Football Rankings 2024: Sleepers from calculated NFL model that predicted Breece Hall’s strong year

Fantasy Football Rankings 2024: Sleepers from calculated NFL model that predicted Breece Hall’s strong year

NFL training camps are in full swing, and Week 2 of the NFL preseason is rolling. With just a few weeks until the 2024 NFL Kickoff Game, it’s officially Fantasy football draft season. Several NFL rosters will look noticeably different this season with multiple Pro Bowl-caliber players signing with new teams during the offseason. Some of the biggest names that will be in new uniforms when the 2024 NFL season kicks off include Kirk Cousins (Falcons), Saquon Barkley (Eagles), Josh Jacobs (Packers) and Derrick Henry (Ravens). All four players have become regulars atop the Fantasy football rankings throughout their respective careers, but their Fantasy football value with their new teams remains uncertain.

Should Cousins, Barkley, Jacobs or Henry be a part of your 2024 fantasy football draft strategy, or should they be viewed as potential 2024 Fantasy football busts? And what 2024 Fantasy football sleepers should you be targeting throughout drafts? Before crafting your 2024 Fantasy football draft strategy, be sure to check out the 2024 Fantasy football rankings and cheat sheets from the proven computer model at SportsLine.

Last year, the model accurately predicted that Jets running back Breece Hall would significantly outperform his sixth-round Fantasy football ADP in 10-team PPR leagues. The result: Hall rushed 223 times for 994 yards and five scores and was also a dynamic receiver out of the backfield, catching 76 passes for 591 yards and four more scores. He’d wind up finishing as the No. 2 running back in CBS Sports PPR leagues behind only Christian McCaffrey.

The same model has a proven track record providing Fantasy football tips, identifying A.J. Brown as a sleeper in 2020 and nailing Jonathan Taylor’s monstrous season in 2021. Additionally, it’s called past Fantasy football sleepers like Derrick Henry in 2019, Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara in 2018, and Davante Adams in 2017. Anybody who banked on players like those made a run at their league title.

The model is powered by the same people who generated projections for all three major Fantasy sites, and it beat human experts last season when there was a big difference in ranking. The 2024 Fantasy football PPR rankings and 2024 Fantasy football standard rankings update multiple times daily, so you’re always getting the best Fantasy football advice.

Now, SportsLine has simulated the entire NFL season 10,000 times and released its latest Fantasy football rankings 2024, along with plenty of sleepers, breakouts and busts. Head to SportsLine now to see them.

Top 2024 Fantasy football sleepers

One of the 2024 Fantasy football sleepers the model is predicting: Chiefs wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown. The former first round pick out of Oklahoma signed with the Chiefs this offseason after spending the last two seasons with the Arizona Cardinals. Brown has been close to breaking out and realizing his full NFL potential, but it has yet to happen for the 27-year-old.

Brown now has the opportunity to play in one of the NFL’s most explosive offenses under one of the top offensive minds in league history in Andy Reid with the NFL’s best quarterback in Patrick Mahomes throwing him the ball. He’ll have some stiff competition for targets with Travis Kelce, Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy all there, but Brown is in a great spot to have the most productive season of his career in 2024. On top of that, he is playing on a one-year, prove-it type of contract.

Another sleeper that SportsLine’s Fantasy football rankings 2024 have identified: Jets wide receiver Mike Williams. The long-time Chargers receiver signed with the Jets this offseason and he’ll eventually give Aaron Rodgers an additional weapon, but he’s working his way back from a torn ACL he suffered last September.

He began the summer on the PUP list, but the Jets have been insistent that he’ll be back in the lineup for their Monday Night Football opener against the 49ers on Sept. 9. However, wary Fantasy owners have led to him being the 52nd wide receiver off the board on average in CBS Sports PPR leagues. The model predicts that he’ll outpace his 2024 Fantasy football ADP by 10 positions. See which other Fantasy football sleepers 2024 to pick here.
