Heather Morris is honoring her late Glee co-star Naya Rivera on the fourth anniversary of her death.
Naya passed away at the age of 33 in July 2020. She died after going swimming on a boating trip with her Josey, who is now eight. Police believe that she used all of her energy to heroically save her son after their boat drifted away.
On the anniversary of Naya‘s death, Heather, 37, took to Instagram on Monday (July 8) to pen a touching tribute to her late friend.
Keep reading to find out more…“I can’t believe it’s been 4 years..boy how time flies. Yet every year I’m taken by surprise how much it still hurts,” Heather wrote along with a black and white photo of her and Naya cuddling in bed.
“We grow up together, fell apart, and came back together in such a beautiful way,” Heather continued. “God you’re missed so much…except I can’t shake the feeling you never left…you’re still here with us..guiding us to our highest potential. I miss you Nay Nay.”
