We recently told you about Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero’s wish-granting dragons, and what you might best wish from them. But what about how best to farm the dragon balls from which they appear? Getting any set of Dragon Balls can be challenging if you’re playing through the game naturally, so here’s everything you need to know about obtaining each set as easily as possible.
How To Farm Shenron and Porunga
Thankfully, the farming methods for both Shenron and Porunga are exactly the same. If you’re lucky, you may be able to get one of each Dragon Ball by doing the following:
You’ll first want to head over to the “Battle & Training” section on the main menu.
From there, you’ll want to select “Battle,” then “Offline,” and then select “P1 vs. CPU.” This will then take you to the official battle settings. As soon as you load into the next menu, scroll over to “Rule Settings” and make the following changes:
- Time Limit – No Limit
- Select CPU Level – Weak
- Out-of-Bounds Rules – On
That last setting is crucial, as it allows you to cut fights short by knocking people out of bounds, rather than depleting their health.
The last thing you’ll do is select the “World Tournament” stage to make things easier.
Now that you have all of those settings in place, you can select which fighter you want to be and who you want to go against. To make this as easy as possible, you’ll want to fight Mr. Satan himself—he’s one of the weakest fighters, and knocking him out of the ring should be reasonably easy.
As for yourself, you can pick any Saiyan and be just fine.
Once the match officially begins, you’ll either push Mr. Satan out of the ring, or knock him out. This shouldn’t take you longer than two minutes at most.
After the game ends, you’ll be rewarded with Zen and some random item, and if you’re lucky, you’ll secure a Shenron or Porunga Dragon Ball. If you don’t, repeat the process until you’ve obtained a full set of either one.
How To Farm Super Shenron
Summoning Super Shenron can be a bit tricky, and unfortunately, there’s no easy way to farm the Super Dragon Balls. This makes sense because Super Shenron offers some of the more high-end wishes.
As of right now, there are only two surefire ways to get a full set. The first is by completing all of Goku’s and Future Trunk’s “Episode Battle.” You can also get lucky and get a Super Dragon Ball after completing an online match or a game with CPU, but these are extremely rare and aren’t worth investing time into.
Now go pick the best possible wishes to seek from your dragons, and while you’re at it, learn how to master the art of the Rush Super.
