Liam Payne‘s friend Jodie Richards, who taught him at her performing arts company, Pink Productions, is speaking out about his death.
According to text message screen grabs that Jodie provided, she had spoken with the 31-year-old One Direction star just hours before his tragic passing on Wednesday (October 16) in Argentina.
According to the screen grabs, Liam texted her with a selfie, along with the word, “Jo?”

She then responded, “Sorry just home x.”
He allegedly wrote back, “Ok.”
Then at 4 o’clock in the morning, seemingly UK time, hours before he passed, he allegedly wrote, “Hey” in one message and then “U up” in a follow up.
She responded at 8 am her time that she was now awake. She then asked where he was, and he allegedly responded, “Argentina” and that he was “Chilling.”
After she heard the news, she reacted out to Liam, writing, “Liam !!!” and “Please tell me this isn’t true,” along with “Please liam.”
She then wrote him a touching goodbye message, which included, “Goodnight mr p xxxx. I have no words and don’t want to say goodbye. When I wake up I’m sure it will all be a dream.”
