Man United pushing to sign Mbeumo before U.S. tour – sources

Manchester United are hopeful of completing the signing of Bryan Mbeumo in time to be part of their squad for the preseason tour of the United States, sources have told ESPN.
United have agreed a deal in excess of £70 million ($94m) with Brentford for the Cameroon forward.
Mbeumo has undergone a medical and agreed personal terms ahead of his move to Old Trafford.
An official announcement is expected on Sunday or Monday. Ruben Amorim’s side are set to fly to their training base in Chicago on Tuesday.
United will play three games in the U.S. during stops in Chicago, New York and Atlanta.
They kicked off their preseason schedule with a 0-0 draw against Leeds United in Stockholm on Saturday.

Mbeumo will become United’s second major signing of the summer following the £62.5m capture of Matheus Cunha from Wolves.
The Brazilian made his debut against Leeds in Sweden.
Marcus Rashford is not expected to be part of the travelling party to the U.S. as he nears a loan move to Barcelona.
United are in the process of negotiating a deal which will see Barcelona pay 100% of Rashford’s salary.
