Matthew and Camila McConaughey Mow The Lawn Pantsless in New Ad

Matthew McConaughey and his wife and business partner, Camila McConaughey, are once again going pantsless in a new ad.

The ad is the latest installment in the “official tequila of” campaign for the couple’s brand, Pantalones Organic Tequila.

Released in time for Labor day, the ad shows the McConaugheys outside mowing the lawn, of course, pantsless. The ad dubs the brand the official tequila of “mowing your lawn.”

Along with the ad, as they have in the past, the couple released a new cocktail titled “Lawn Jorts,” made with Pantalones Blanco, honeydew melon juice, orange liqueur, lime juice, agave syrup and mint leaves.

Last month, the McConaugheys released an ad for National Tequila Day. The ad named Panatalones the official tequila of “not getting burned,” showing Camila McConaughey preparing to apply sunscreen while her husband lounges, pantsless, of course, by the pool. 

The couple have released two other pantsless ads over the summer months including a pickleball-related promo in May, timed to “No Pants Day,” and a Fourth of July spot featuring the pair grilling, sans pants.

The couple launched the brand in the fall of 2023 with Blanco, Reposado and Añejo. The award-winning line of tequila is “crafted to celebrate having fun, doing good and not taking life too seriously,” according to a release.

In the brand’s first year on the market, the Añejo tequila was recently awarded the San Francisco World Spirits Competition’s highest honor, the double gold — an award given when all judges unanimously voted it the best in class. Their Blanco tequila also received a gold medal while the Reposado received the bronze.

The brand previously said in a release earlier this year that almost all of their 2024 work will be pants-free.
