Nottinghamshire set for £29 million development

A 29 million multi-tenure development is coming to Nottinghamshire after Avant Homes was granted planning permission.

There will be 104 new homes in Lynncroft, Eastwood, while the development will be called Lawrence Point and comprise of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes.

Work at Lawrence Point is expected to start on site in September 2024, with the first residents anticipated to move into their new homes in August 2025.

Matt Barker, director in charge of Avant Homes Central, said: “Lawrence Point is an excellent example of our commitment to providing quality new homes for everyone in locations where people want to live.

“The development will provide a mix of practically designed, energy-efficient home that will appeal to everyone from first time buyers, to second steppers, families and downsizers.

“We look forward to works starting on new and thriving community that we are building in Eastwood. Our initial infrastructure works will include implementing further measures that effectively manage any surface water.

“Now that planning has been granted, we fully anticipate Lawrence Point will prove extremely popular with those living in or looking to move to Eastwood.”

Prices will start from £189,995 for a two-bedroom terrace property. Of the 104 homes proposed, 10% have been designated to affordable housing.

Avant Homes will also commit to a community contribution with £506,000 the provision of local education, healthcare and improvements of bus stops and library facilities.
