It might be time to check your fridge—a popular coffee creamer has just been recalled due to potential health hazards. According to a statement released by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on February 21, 2025, International Delight Coffee Creamer recalled over 75,000 bottles of its product, reaching a class II classification on March 12, 2025.
Class II classifications are defined as “a situation in which use of or exposure to a violative product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote,” the FDA’s site reads.
The brand’s parent company—Danone Wave—is located in Louisville, CO, and shipped to 31 states across the country. Both of the recalled products were described as having “complaints of spoilage and illness with the use of the products.” However, the number of customers who may have been affected by the product have not been reported yet.
