Huma Abedin and Alex Soros are set to get married!
The 47-year-old political staffer and the 38-year-old billionaire investor just got engaged, they confirmed in a joint post shared to Instagram on Wednesday (July 10).

“this happened…we couldn’t be happier, more grateful, or more in love ❤️ 😍 💍,” Alex captioned the photo, which shows him down on one knee in front of Huma, with what seems like a lake in the background.
“The best way I can describe the relationship is effortless,” a longtime friend of Huma‘s told Page Six. “After a lot of tumultuous years for Huma, she’s relaxed and happy and in love.”
The outlet reports that Alex popped the question six weeks ago, and they recently celebrated the big news in Italy.

She is most well known for serving as vice chair of Hillary Clinton‘s presidential campaign, and previously, working as Hillary‘s deputy chief of staff when she was Secretary of State.
Alex, an investor, is also the son of George Soros, who is a major Democratic party donor, and was one of the top donors for Hillary‘s presidential campaign in 2016.
