Shakira is making history once again.
The 48-year-old “Soltera” superstar just completed her seventh performance at Estadio GNP Seguros on Sunday (March 30) in Mexico City, making her the first artist in history to achieve the feat at the venue.
She will return in August with three more shows, breaking her own record.
During the night, she received a special recognition from Mexican concert promoter OCESA for achieving seven sold-out shows at Estadio GNP Seguros, recognized as the No. 1 concert stadium in the world.

Sony Music México also joined the celebration, awarding Shakira a Double Platinum and Gold certification for the overwhelming success of her album Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran in the country, plus 28 more certifications for her iconic songs, including “Inevitable” (Double Diamond + Platinum + Gold), “La Bicicleta” (Double Diamond + Quadruple Platinum), “La Tortura” (Diamond + Quadruple Platinum + Gold), “Waka Waka” (Diamond + Platinum + Gold), “She Wolf / Loba” (Diamond + Double Platinum + Gold), and “Suerte (Whenever, Wherever)” (Quadruple Platinum + Gold).
For the first time in her career, she’s also hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Tour Ranking, becoming the first Latin female artist to achieve this milestone. Her tour has sold 282,000 tickets, according to figures reported by Billboard Boxscore.
