Leave it to Mary-Kate and Ashley to revive a trend. After having major moments in the ’80s, ’90s and another in the early 2000s, the controversial jelly shoes have weaseled their way back into our hearts and onto our feet. In large part thanks to The Row’s Mara Rubber Mesh Ballerina Flats — recently sported by none other than Jennifer Lawrence — the undying footwear style has made its resurgence for summer 2024.

It also feels like spring’s mesh flat craze — which is still very much alive — eased our way back into its slightly more adventurous jellied sister. And just like mesh Mary Janes and ballerina flats, jelly sandals pair effortlessly with summer dresses, midi skirts, white linen pants and distressed denim cut-offs.

Ranging from chunky fisherman sandals to designer slides from brands like Burberry and Tory Burch, we rounded up our top 10 jelly shoes in a variety of silhouettes and across all price points. And while transparent styles really do epitomize the jelly trend, we threw in a few opaque and matte pairs for a variety of retro-inspired footwear.

Featuring a leather sole and PVC upper, these are the prime example of elevated everyday footwear.

Fabulous in orange, but also available in cream for a more subtle look.

This pair from The Row is so sought after that it’s currently $500 over retail and only available in a few sizes.

The same silhouette comes in light gray with a silver buckle and ivory with a gold buckle. You can also shop Tory’s best-selling jelly pool slides on sale now.

Equally cool in Burberry’s classic checked pattern.

Had to include another pair from Ancient Greek Sandals that’s sold in six bold and neutral colorways. And if you’re in the market for flip flops, there’s a jelly and leather pair available in five colors.

Also offered in white, black and red.

Melissa is an OG jelly shoe maker — can’t have a roundup without a pair. Jennifer Lawrence was also recently spotted in this exact style. The queen of jelly shoes meets the queen of jelly shoes.
