There’s a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series for every generation, and if the 2010s were your childhood stomping grounds, then you won’t want to miss out on this deal for one of the best TMNT incarnations. Nickelodeon’s TMNT series is now on sale, and you can grab all 124 episodes for just $22 in this DVD box set. That’s around 47 hours of entertainment, or roughly five episodes per dollar–whichever way you look at it, this is a solid deal
Nickelodeon’s TMNT series was first announced in 2009 after its parent company Viacom acquired the rights to the franchise and the first season debuted in 2013. A fun reimagining of the Ninja Turtles, this new series kept the core concepts intact and also served as a love letter to the entire franchise. Mixing nostalgic elements with surprisingly fluid CG animation, this TMNT series ran for several seasons and had surprisingly mature storylines.
It also had a terrific cast, as the Turtles faced off against iconic villains, were joined by familiar allies, and had some wild adventures. The fight choreography is also a highlight, and the overall balance of the show is fun with just enough plot complexity to keep things interesting for more mature viewers.
If you’d prefer something more contemporary, Amazon also has the recent animated film, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, on sale right now. This is for the 4K Blu-ray version of the film and it comes in a pretty slick steelbook case. That edition is priced at $29, but if it does sell out, the standard 4K version is slightly cheaper at $26.
