These $30 Memory Foam Slippers Are the Most Comfortable Shoes I Own

These Memory Foam Slippers Are the Most Comfortable Shoes I Own

My Amazon order history is decidedly not very exciting. I tend to only order tough-to-find items, Kindle books, and my mom’s favorite chocolate hazelnut tea from the retailer because I’m a huge Target fan. But now and again I pick up something that is absolutely worth sharing, and my most recent find is this pair of summer slippers—my new holy grail product.

Because I have plantar fasciitis, my doctor warned me years ago to not walk around my house barefoot. As a perfectionist, I’ve heeded his advice during every season, except the summer. It’s always too hot to wear anything lined with faux fur, but I would also rather wear something softer than a pair of flip flops. So, when blogger Grace Atwood from The Stripe mentioned she loves the Chantomoo Memory Foam Slippers, I clicked “Buy Now” at Amazon quicker than I have in ages.

Even with Grace’s high praise and nearly 1,800 five-star ratings from other shoppers, I was hesitant to think that these slippers would be as comfortable as other people promised. I was nervous that they would still feel too hot even with the open toe design and worried about how they would fit. But I’m happy to share that I was so wrong. These are the best slippers I’ve ever worn, and I can’t believe they’re on sale for just $30.

When my Chanotomoo slippers arrived, I was immediately struck by their softness. The brand notes that they have a corduroy fabric exterior, but I think it feels much more like a chenille. Even so, the ultra-soft material feels luxurious on my feet without making them too warm (the open toe helps, too). I’m also impressed that the slippers have a durable EVA rubber bottom, so I don’t have to worry about them ripping from too much wear or time spent outside on my deck watering my flowers. Even with both of these features, the supportive plush memory foam interior is what makes these house shoes so incredible and truly cloud-like. My feet sink into them and stay put.

The slippers are available in nine fun colors like avocado green (my pick), light blue, beige, and lavender in four sizes (5/6, 7/8, 9/10, 11/12). The only mistake I made when ordering is I chose to size up because I’ve found that slippers can feel a little tight. With that said, I should have ordered my typical size instead because the larger size I ordered is actually a touch too big. However, fear not, I kept them—I loved them too much to wait even a few days for a smaller size to arrive.

Thanks to the Chantomoo Memory Foam Slippers, I finally have an Amazon purchase worth sharing, and I’m listening to my doctor’s advice to wear shoes, too. These house shoes are so comfortable and supportive, surprisingly cooling, and worth more than their $30 price tag. I highly recommend scooping up a pair while they’re on sale, but if you’re still shopping, there are even more warm weather slippers highlighted below.
