Seven years ago I was waiting for a liver transplant. I was having my abdomen drained at least weekly (paracentesis ) of the Asiatic fluid that would build. Each time at least 9 litres. When the fluid would build too fast, it would cross the diaphragm and back into the lung. This happened to me 3 or 4 times. I would then need Thoracentesis done to drain the lung. This time, it was about 1.5 litres. The relief I would get was incredible submitted by /u/Ativan_Man to r/Damnthatsinteresting |
