This Colorful Waterproof Pouch Keeps Your Phone Dry All Summer—Plus 5 More Clever Items We Love

My plans this summer include spending as much time as possible beside/in a body of water. On the hunt for a way to keep my phone safe from sand and water damage, I found the cutest pouch that comes in lots of cheerful colors and floats safely if you want to bring it in the pool. Plus, I found some other fun, clever products I’d like to snag for myself ASAP, like charms for your belt and the cutest snack pack/craft kit bundle from my all-time fave, Fishwife.

How cute is this?! This gift set features two boxes of tinned fish with “color me in” packaging, colored pencils, a limited-edition tin gifting box, three fish clips, and a sardine print, so you can do art and snack all summer long!

I love these! They dress up the empty punch holes so you can add pizzazz to any outfit. This one is celestial themed, but they have other sets, too! I’m loving the trend of accessorizing your accessories—aside from the super-trendy bag charms and these, I’ve also seen shoe charms that attach to laced shoes. Cool!

A Better Mopping System

You know what’s gross? Using one bucket to mop your floors. After you wring it out a couple of times, it’s basically like “cleaning” with dirty water. This smart system keeps clean and dirty water separate—wet the mop head with the clean water, then pass it through the wringer to get dirty water off the head. Plus, it’s super compact and easy to store, even in small spaces.

Headphones That Light Up

Stay alert when you’re on the go with these headphones that light up. They also conduct sound through your cheekbones so that you can hear more of what’s going on around you.

A Pillow That Truly Cools You Down

OK, so I tried out a sample of this pillow and it’s truly amazing! The basic idea is that you fill one side of the pillow with water and the other side with air (that side has rows of foam to give it shape), and then slide the case over it. The foam side is warming, if that’s something you’re after, but I’m all about the cool side of the pillow, and it’s actually cold. The only con for me is that it’s heavy, which can be a little awkward if you’re someone who likes moving their pillow to different positions in the evening. But otherwise, it’s one of the only pillows I’ve tested that actually stays cold all night!
