Travis and Jason Kelce Now Have Their Own Cereal: the Kelce Mix

Travis and Jason Kelce Now Have Their Own Cereal: the Kelce Mix

The most important meal of the day is being remixed. And this time, it’s Travis’s version.

Superbowl Champions and brothers Travis and Jason Kelce have a new, sugary cereal hitting shelves just in time for NFL season this September, and the boxed breakfast is a familiar yet creative combo of some nostalgic favorites.

After enthusiastically discussing their top five cereals on their popular podcast “New Heights”  last year, General Mills, purveyors of some of the Kelces’ favorite munchies, partnered with the brothers to create a special combo box for consumers, the Kelce Mix Cereal.

Kelce Mix Cereal combines a trio of the brothers’ longtime favorite cereals — Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms, and Reese’s Puffs — all in one bowl.

“We’d go through two to three boxes of our favorite cereals a week when we were growing up, so being able to team up with General Mills now is a full circle moment for us,” Travis shared. “I’ve said that I’d eat a whole box of Reese’s Puffs cereal in one sitting, and while I stand by that, our creation might just be the new MVP of the cereal aisle.”

In addition to the Kelce mix, General Mills will also appease cereal purists with the release of Kelces’ Pick collectible boxes of Honey Nut Cheerios (another Kelce family favorite), Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms, and Reese’s Puffs cereal. These special-edition boxes will feature the brothers on the packaging, giving their stamp of approval.

“The only thing Travis and I know more about than football is cereal — so we’re honored to take home the victory and consider ourselves officially inducted into cereal culture with Kelce Mix,” Jason said.

The Kelces co-created their ideal mix of cereal and, in the process, attended a special General Mills Cereal Training Camp to create content and finesse their cereal skills. Social media will soon show the brother competing in cereal-themed challenges like a Lucky Charms Marshmallow Mission and a Cinnadust sprayer event.

“Who are we to argue with two of the best from the league? After some fan speculation, we are so excited to confirm that you can now eat and train like the Kelce brothers by getting your hands on the legendary lineup of cereals and watching all the fun from our Cereal Training Camp videos this football season,” said Brandon Tyrrell, senior manager of brand experience for Family Favorites cereals at General Mills. “Our brands have always brought families together at the breakfast table, so it’s been special to work with Jason and Travis who grew up eating our cereals themselves and could channel their inner child when competing. We hope this collab inspires our fans to think about their own all-time cereal creations while they enjoy more togetherness over a bowl of Kelce Mix.”

Of course, Kelce Mix isn’t reserved exclusively for the morning hours. As Travis’ girlfriend Taylor Swift may suggest, the release date of the limited edition cereal may just be the perfect night, for breakfast at midnight.
