9 June Nail Colors That You’ll Want to Wear All Summer Long

Summer’s just about to hit full swing, which means a jam-packed social calendar filled with sun-drenched brunches, some pool time, perhaps a trip or two, and plenty of opportunities to show off your manicure at all the above. As we look at the top June nail color trends, it’s all about leaning into warm tones like butter yellow and baby pink, and making splashy statements with unexpected hues like Cajun shrimp or ultra-shiny black.

Soft Serve White

Soft serve white is a creamy, off-white neutral slightly sheer shade. “Think melty vanilla ice cream on a summer day,” says Juli Russell, celebrity manicurist and nail expert for Sally Beauty. “It’s softer than stark white, which gives it a more wearable, elevated vibe. And just like vanilla ice cream, it’s classic and goes with everything.”

Baby Pink

A pale pink hue is a definite yes when it comes to June nail color trends. “It’s feminine, chic, and glam,” says Rose Herr, manicurist and founder of Polished. “Charli XCX was just spotted with a high gloss sheer pink mani while at Cannes. This color can be very understated, but elegant.”

Fuchsia

If you like the idea of pink but want to add a few more watts to the look, fuchsia is your girl. This unapologetic shade straddles the line between playful, feminine, and powerful. Think hot pink with a carefree attitude. We love it for balmy summer nights with a spritzer in hand, rooftop brunches, or whenever you’re in the mood to make a statement with your manicure.

Tiffany Blue

We love a blue moment, and there are few as iconic as Tiffany’s bright hue. “This color thrives in sunlight and is reminiscent of ocean water. It pops against bronzed skin, pairs beautifully with white linen and denim, and brings a breezy, upscale vacation vibe without trying too hard,” Russell says. She says this trending June nail color is part of a larger wave of nostalgic luxury we’re seeing in beauty and fashion right now.

Naked Nails

Calling all minimalists: Naked nails a la sheer beiges and barely-there pinks are officially trending. “Minimalist nail trends are huge right now, with stars like Hailey Bieber championing clean, natural looks,” says Jacqueline Pham, celebrity manicurist for Color Street. “These shades also align with the ‘clean girl’ aesthetic dominating social media and summer style.”

Cajun Shrimp

If you’re aiming for a cannonball-style splash with your June nail color, opt for this vibrant coral red with a spicy, tropical twist. Russell says, “It’s fun, flirty, and packs a bold punch, the kind of color that instantly says, ‘I’m here.’ Plus, it’s made for heat; this shade radiates energy and confidence.”

Shiny Black

In a sea of pastels and barely there nudes, there’s a trending June nail color that happily stands out in a crowd: shiny, shiny black. “Short black nails are back,” says Jessica Dickson, manicurist and owner at Jessica’s Beauty Service. “They make a bold statement and stand out on the lighter colors of clothing this summer. Nicole Kidman has brought this trend back, wearing it on the red carpet at Cannes. Another celebrity fan of the short black nail is Kate Beckinsale.”

Butter Yellow

Butter yellow prevails as we head into deep summer; people just can’t seem to get enough of this soft and creamy pastel with a burst of golden-y warmth. “It’s gentle and sunny, and brings instant warmth without being too loud,” Russell says. “Butter yellow is having a moment in fashion and beauty, and part of its staying power is how wearable it is. It’s not just pretty, it’s surprisingly practical.”

Bright Blue

Along with Tiffany Blue, bold variations on the azul color family are a big yes for summer 2025. “Bright blue is an electric shade that evokes clear skies and ocean waves, making it an ideal pick for summer adventures,” Pham says. “Bright blue nails have been all over social media, with influencers and celebs like Dua Lipa embracing bold blues.”
