Bryan Abasolo is opening up about the support he got before filing for divorce from wife of five years, Rachel Lindsay.

The 44-year-ld chiropractor shared on his Instagram story on Thursday (July 18) about reaching out and getting help from a divorce coach before making the big decision.

He also revealed he was “emotionally and physically beaten down” before filing.

“When I first met my divorce coach last year, I was emotionally and psychologically beaten down,” he wrote on a since removed Instagram Story post, along with a photo of him and coach Rene Garcia. “I needed an objective opinion and guidance to make a huge decision.”

“I credit @Renesance_Man who I now call a friend for helping me face the PR tricks and gaslighting I was warned was coming. I’m thankful,” he added.

Bryan also suggested followers to work with Rene if they’re also thinking of divorce, “so you don’t make a decision by reaction, but through clarity.”

In another post, Rene Garcia teased a three part series of videos with Bryan writing, “Bryan faced a tough decision as he had had enough of chasing , as he calls it ‘a constantly moving goal post’ and he expressed “tolerating disingenuous” behavior. The fear of gaslighting, media-fed attacks on his character and bullying had been an excuse thus delaying taking action.”

“I’m happy to have been chosen to help him get clarity, be sure of his decision and know what to expect,” he continued. “Since filing for the divorce in January 2024, Bryan has stayed committed to his personal development and the growth of his practice. Earlier this month, Bryan revealed the text he sent to Rachel before he filed for divorce.

Rachel and Bryan did not have a prenup, calling the divorce “unnecessarily messy,” and she has revealed her income info and just how much she is willing to pay for spousal support.
