Uhhh, what’s going on with the Gosselins?? And by that this time we mean Jon Gosselin and his girlfriend!
Just last week, Jon talked about finally being in touch with his ex-wife Kate Gosselin and his six estranged children… Well, sort of. During an appearance on the Domenick Nati Show, the 47-year-old revealed his longtime girlfriend Stephanie Lebo, whom he’s been dating since 2021, is in touch for him. He explained she speaks to Kate, the 23-year-old twins Mady and Cara, and four of the six sextuplets he’s estranged from, including Leah, Alexis, Aaden, and Joel, 20. He said they’ve exchanged greetings on FaceTime, theorizing:
“Maybe it’s just easier to talk to someone that’s with me but not me. Under the scrutiny of everything that transpired, it might just be easier for them to talk to a third party individual that’s totally integrated into my life.”
Inneresting, right?
As we know, Jon has an active relationship with 20-year-olds Hannah and Collin, but other than that, ZIP. But hey, at least his GF talks to everyone, right? Or maybe not…

During an interview with The US Sun published on Tuesday, Stephanie actually denied being in contact with Kate. She said:
“I am not on speaking terms with Kate, but I am not against the idea of speaking to Kate, if the opportunity arises.”
Uhhh, what? Jon JUST said they WERE on speaking terms last week!
The father of eight further confused things by chiming in to speak on the situation once more:
“If they have the opportunity to speak to each other, I think that would be great only because we’re trying to build a relationship with the other kids. And I think it’s important that we all become united and that it becomes a bigger, extended family. But I’m not gonna have any opposition. If Steph decides to talk to Kate or Kate decides to talk to Steph.”
This is CONFUSING, y’all.
Did Jon misspeak last week? Was he exaggerating? Because this time he made it totally clear that was NOT correct, saying:
“[There have been no] full-on conversations at all and like I said I’d be open to it, and nothing against it, but that’s false.”
So bizarre!
Jon hasn’t spoken to Kate since 2018 when they saw each other in court, but it sounds like he’s open to carving out a path for communication… He’s just making it clear that that has NOT already been done, we guess?
