Bilt Rewards Mobile App Review

The Bilt Rewards mobile app makes it easy to manage all aspects of your Bilt World Elite Mastercard® Credit Card and Bilt Rewards accounts. The app is intuitive, with icons along the bottom of the screen that make it easy to track account details like transactions and available credit, search for travel redemptions, transfer rewards to travel partners, chat with customer service, play games to earn extra Bilt Rewards, and of course, pay rent.

Here’s what you need to know about using the Bilt Rewards mobile app.

From making a payment to viewing transaction history and available credit, the Bilt Rewards mobile app has many features that make it easy to manage your credit card.

You can log in to the Bilt Rewards mobile app manually or through biometric identification, including face and fingerprint recognition.

Account security can be managed by clicking on the three dots in the top right corner of the home screen, followed by “Account.” From there, you can update account details like contact information and email address, change your password, update your security information and chat with support.

The Bilt Rewards app has a built-in chat feature that allows you to contact Bilt support. Unfortunately, this is often not in real-time and leaves a message for support to contact you within 24 to 48 hours. However, your conversations will be tracked in one place and easily accessible even after you close the app.

You can add your Bilt World Elite Mastercard® Credit Card directly to your digital wallet by clicking the Wallet icon at the bottom of the Bilt Rewards app screen. Then tap the “add to” button in the middle of your screen to add your card. After a few more acknowledgements, your card will be ready to use in the mobile wallet you selected.

The Bilt Rewards app makes it easy to manage all aspects of your Bilt World Elite Mastercard® Credit Card. From the Wallet tab at the bottom of the home screen, you can view your card number, make a payment, view recent transactions, access statements and get a summary of your card benefits.

The standout feature of the Bilt World Elite Mastercard® Credit Card is the ability to pay rent and earn rewards. The mobile app makes it easy to do that by simply clicking the Pay Rent button at the bottom of the app screen. Depending on your landlord, you’ll be able to pay your rent online or through a mailed check.

If you pay online, you’ll be issued a “Rent Rewards Account,” including routing and account numbers (similar to a checking account) that are linked to your Bilt Rewards account. Provide those details to your landlord and submit your rent payment. Then, each month, your linked Bilt World Elite Mastercard® Credit Card will be charged the rent payment. If your credit limit isn’t high enough to cover your rent, you can enable Bilt Protect Debit, which allows you to link a checking account and still earn rewards without using your card’s credit line.

If you pay rent by check, simply input your landlord’s mailing address and monthly rent amount, then choose between first-class mail or expedited shipping options (for a fee).

The Bilt Rewards app makes viewing and using your rewards a breeze. From the Rewards tab at the bottom of the mobile app, you can access your benefits, and view your rewards activity broken down by spending category and details about your Bilt Rewards loyalty status progress.

If you want to redeem rewards for travel, head over to the Travel tab at the bottom of the app. Here you can book hotels, flights and even a commuter helicopter through the company Blade. You can also transfer rewards to over 10 travel loyalty partners by linking your Bilt Rewards account to the partner account.

With or without the Bilt World Elite Mastercard® Credit Card, the Bilt Rewards app offers access to your FICO credit score. Simply click on the three dots in the top right corner of the app, then account, followed by “Your credit score.” Unfortunately the app only provides a snapshot of your credit score on that day without providing your credit score history.

The Bilt Rewards mobile app has a chat feature, but it can take up to 48 hours to receive a response to each message. That potentially lengthy response time makes the chat function more like direct messaging.

The Bilt mobile app has much the same functionality as the desktop site. They are also set up similarly, with the tabs at the top of the desktop site being the same as those at the bottom of the mobile app. Overall, both the mobile app and the desktop site are easy to navigate.
