Hamilton Adds Several New Models To Its Jazzmaster Watch Collection

The Hamilton Jazzmaster Performer Auto Chrono 42mm watch
Hamilton recently added to its Jazzmaster watch collection with a new Performer Auto Chrono and several new editions to its Jazzmaster Open Heart series. The Jazzmaster collection is designed primarily for urban environments combing a refined contemporary appearance with solid mechanics.
Jazzmaster Performer Auto Chrono 42mm
The latest launch in this Jazzmaster series is the Performer Auto Chrono 42mm, which Hamilton describes as a modern take on the everyday sports watch. It’s designed so it can be paired with a suit, sneakers or a sportscar, the watch brand says.
The complexity of the watch’s chronograph functions is on display on the Super-LumiNova X1-enhanced indexes on the dial. The time is displayed on the outer ring of the dial. On the bezel, the tachymeter indicators work in connection with the chronograph hand to measure the average speed between two points based on elapsed time. When stopped, the chronograph hand indicates the average speed on the tachymeter. Three subdials: in black, silver and “steel blue” track hours, minutes and the running seconds. Beneath the chronograph functions is an exposed date wheel, which is arguably the visual focal point on the dial. Its certainly impossible not to notice.
The watch is powered by the caliber H-31 movement with 28 jewels, an 80-hour power reserve and a Nivachron balance spring for improved resistance to external shocks such as magnetic fields and temperature variations.
The dial and movement are housed in a 42mm black PVD case with contrasting blue highlights and brushed silver elements. It’s completed with a black leather strap with blue stitching.
Jazzmaster Open Heart
Hamilton recently added new references to its Jazzmaster Open Heart series extending the collection with new green and blue colored dials available in 42mm and 36mm sizes and with multiple strap options. The Open Heart collection is known for its cut-out design which partially reveals the watch’s movement.
Style options for the 42mm stainless steel model include a deep green dial and a dark blue dial with an aventurine stone-inspired finish. The aventurine-styled design, sprinkled with shimmering particles, gives the appearance of a starry sky. The watches are paired with a choice of a patina brown or dark blue leather strap with pin buckle; or a 5-link stainless steel bracelet with butterfly buckle.

Both references are powered by the H-10 automatic movement with an 80-hour power reserve and Nivachron balance spring, with anti-magnetic protection.
The 36mm references, come with the same dial options and are powered by the same caliber H-10 automatic movement with Nivachron balance spring and 80-hour power reserve. Strap options for the models are either a stainless steel bracelet with butterfly buckle or a dark blue calf leather strap with pin buckle.
