Holy S**t! Jessica Biel Reveals There Was An Incest Scene Cut From 7th Heaven!

The White Lotus is freaking out viewers with its incest plotline this year. But one of the most wholesome family shows of all time almost beat them by 30 years!

Jessica Biel was on Sunday’s all new episode of the Catching Up With the Camdens podcast — reuniting with her 7th Heaven co-stars Beverley Mitchell, Mackenzie Rosman, and David Gallagher. But the TV fam’s nostalgia talk got weird for a minute — and NOT because of Stephen Collins for once!

No, it was because of the WILD content of the very first episode!

In 1996’s Anything You Want, teen Mary Camden asks big brother Matt to make out with her so she’ll have experience with a boy. Yeah. It’s a plot right out of a YouPorn video. WTF. Add to that both Jessica and Barry Watson were instant crushes for teen viewers? That’s some fetish plotting on par with that Nickelodeon foot stuff exposed in the Quiet On Set doc!

Thankfully, Pastor Eric — the teens’ dad — walks into the backyard just in time to see what’s happening — and stop them before they actually go through with it. At least… that’s what happens in the episode that aired…

See, the podcast hosts think they remember the kissing scene being filmed! Beverley said to her TV sis:

“We’ve been talking about it. We thought [there was a kiss] but we know it never made it to air. I couldn’t remember if you guys actually had to shoot it?”

And Jessica confirmed it! They shot a scene of the TV siblings kissing! She recalled:

“I do think we shot it. I think, at the time, everyone was like, ‘This isn’t really gonna work.’ Everybody seemed to think this was not the best move for these siblings on this show.”

Uh, yeah! WTF kind of show would it have been if they set up a will they/won’t they with a brother and sister? This was 15 years before Game Of Thrones btw. And that was an HBO show full of murder and betrayal and brothel sexposition. It was meant to be a shocking revelation. This was on The WB! And intended as a family drama! Where the kids learn life lessons and stuff! Cray!

However, Jessica does admit while she’s always remembered it happening, it was so long ago she may be mistaken:

“Honestly, I don’t know if that was real or not. Did it actually happen?”

She admitted her “14-year-old self” would have been excited to kiss new co-star Barry, outside the context of all the ickiness! But would the adults involved really have thought it was a good idea to film that??

Barry has spoken about the scene before. Per Us Weekly, at a Hartford ’90s Con last year, he said about the incest scene:

“I knew then, I was like, ‘I don’t want to do this.’”

He would have been like eight years older than she was when they filmed that! A 22-year-old young man? No wonder he was thinking more clearly about it!

According to Barry, it was 90210 creator Aaron Spelling who “insisted” on the scene:

“I found out from [Brenda Hampton], the creator, that it was Aaron that insisted on having that scene. That was the only time I ever questioned Aaron’s creativity because I always think, ‘This would never happen.’”

OMG WHAT?! Did people always ask him about Brandon and Brenda or something?? WTF, Aaron??
