A fly has been following me for the past few weeks and no one believes me

For the past few weeks, I (20F) have noticed a fly that seems to be following me. I see it at least once a day – sometimes in my bedroom, sometimes in the living room, and even at my desk at work. I’ve checked my home for any signs of an infestation but haven’t found anything. What’s strange is that it always looks like the exact same fly: same size, same type. I’ve tried killing it a few times and thought I succeeded, but it always seems to reappear the next day.

Other people have seen the fly too, so I know I’m not imagining it, but no one believes me when I say it’s following me. It’s been happening consistently for about three weeks, and it’s starting to feel really unsettling.

Has anyone experienced anything like this before? Is there a logical explanation for it?
