Tammy Slaton finally got her skin removal surgery!

The 38-year-old has been documenting her inspiring weight loss journey on TLC‘s 1,000-Lb Sisters since 2020, recently revealing she’d hit the amazing milestone of losing 500 lbs!

Unfortunately the skin doesn’t automatically shrink back down along with the weight loss. So lately her bigger issue has been folds of skin on her neck, arms, etc.

Well, not for long! In the June 3 episode of the show, she reveals she’s been approved for the surgery

“I’m so used to seeing all this hanging [from] my arms and now when I wake up Sunday or Saturday, I’m not going to have this anymore… I’m going to look halfway normal from [the] face down. It’s scary but rewarding at the same time.”

She even added the rather intimate detail:

“Even showering is going to be so much different… I have to take my hand and go all the way up underneath there and it’s kind of deep. In less than a week, I’m not going to have that.”

Well… the show was filmed months ago… so we can report the surgery was a huge success! And Tammy has already sneakily shared the results!

Last month, the reality star posted a video to TikTok praising her new girlfriend Andrea. What she didn’t mention was the fact she clearly had recovered from her surgery! And looks great!
