Lasko Oscillating Tower Heater

This tower heater is the only space heater in Amazon’s top six sellers that’s over $50. It oscillates, has a digital display, remote control, and thermostat controls. You can set it to operate on a timer if you’re someone that forgets to turn off their heater after working next to it all day. More than 49,000 buyers have given it a five-star rating. “Extremely energy efficient, doesn’t make a big difference on the electric bill,” wrote one person who updated their review to say their Lasko tower heater was still running after nine years of use.

Amazon Basics Ceramic Space Heater

Amazon’s own portable space heater has an unbeatable price for its wattage. Similar to the GiveBest model, it has a carrying handle and uses tactile dials instead of a digital display. You set the desired heat level with one dial and the fan speed with the other. Standard safety features like overheating and tip-over auto-shutdowns are also included. The reviews say it works great in small rooms even on the low setting and heats up in a hurry. You can get the oscillating version for an extra $5.

This little gadget looks more like a Bluetooth speaker than a space heater. At under 6 inches tall and with a two-prong plug, it’s a great option for anyone who needs a heater on their desk.
