Adrian Grenier was dubbed as the “real villain” of the first The Devil Wears Prada movie and now he will not be back for the sequel.
The 48-year-old actor played Nate Cooper, the boyfriend of Anne Hathaway‘s Andy Sachs.
Throughout the movie, Andy and Nate’s relationship was on a downward spiral as her job consumed her life, which he couldn’t accept. They eventually broke up after Andy showed up late for Nate’s birthday party due to a work obligation. At the end of the movie, Andy and Nate got back together and she moved to Boston with him after quitting her job.
Moviegoers have deemed Nate the villain of the movie because he wasn’t supportive of Andy’s career.
Well, don’t worry as you won’t have to see Nate in the sequel!

Multiple sources have confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that Nate will not return in the sequel, which clearly means he and Andy are no longer together.
The sequel just began filming with four actors returning and one major star attached to join!
