AIO. I want to leave my bf over this but my friend told me not to so I need advice.

I don’t want to post this on my main as I want to keep that account away from anything personal. So I might end up deleting but I really need advice right now.

Me(F18) and my bf have been together for 3 years and I’ve always dressed like this. Recently he’s been kind of put off by it and these messages prove it. I’m really considering breaking up with him over this but my friend insisted not to but also not to change myself. Would I be overreacting if I left or should I stick to my friends advice?
