Alyson Hannigan is reacting to American Pie getting a special shout-out in one of Taylor Swift‘s new songs!

On her new album The Tortured Poets Department, the 34-year-old singer debuted her new track “So High School” which features a name-drop of the 1999 comedy.

“I’m watching American Pie with you on a Saturday night / Your friends are around, so be quiet,” Taylor sings.

In a new interview, Alyson, 50, admitted she had a major “freakout” when she first listened to the song.

Keep reading to find out more…I started listening to it, and when I got to ‘So High School,’ I was like, ‘What?!’” Alyson shared with Vulture. “I thought maybe I was still sort of sleeping and imagining it. But when I heard it, I was freaking out. I woke up my entire family, who seemed less enthusiastic than I’d like them to be. Then I called a friend, and she and I had a nice freakout together.”

“I was so happy. Basically, I was on the date with Travis and Taylor,” Alyson added, referencing Taylor‘s boyfriend Travis Kelce, whom the song is seemingly about.

Alyson starred as Michelle Flaherty in all three American Pie films alongside Jason Biggs, Seann William Scott, and Chris Klein.
