Amazon Prime Day 2025 is officially coming back this July, but the event will be twice as long as previous years. 

Whether this is your first time shopping the annual sale or you’re a seasoned veteran, this Prime Day has something for everyone. Amazon announced that the four-day event will begin on Tuesday, July 8, and end on Friday, July 11, offering shoppers double the typical amount of time to shop. What Is Amazon Prime Day? 

Amazon Prime Day is a huge annual sales event that includes major discounts across its site. The shopping extravaganza began in July 2015, as a way for the retailer to celebrate Prime members on Amazon’s 20th birthday. Since then, the event has evolved into a two-day (and now four-day!) event, including markdowns on home, fashion, tech, and beauty items. 

When Is Amazon Prime Day? 

Prime Day 2025 starts on Tuesday, July 8, and ends on Friday, July 11. While the event usually lasts for two days, Amazon announced that this year it will extend its sale to four days. This means shoppers will have additional time to score some of their biggest must-haves for discounted prices.
