Amazon has revealed all the PC games that’ll be available this month through its Prime Gaming service, and in total, you can look forward to 18 games in December. The first batch of games are now available, and these include a mix of classic Star Wars, Tomb Raider adventures, and one of last year’s breakout hits. As a reminder, once you claim the free games from Prime Gaming, they are yours to keep forever–even if your subscription expires. If you aren’t a member, you can sign up for Amazon Prime for as little as one month to take advantage of the subscription and score some great freebies.
First up is Star Wars: Bounty Hunter, a third-person action-adventure where you get to don the Beskar armor of Jango Fett, Boba Fett’s dad who had a good head on his shoulders until he decided to pick a fight with a Jedi Master. Set before the events of Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones, the game sees Fett embark on a mission to hunt down a rogue Jedi. Next up is Overcooked 2, a chaotic co-op game where you have to fill food orders alongside a crack team of chefs, and there’s also a serving of cowboy action with Call of Juarez: Gunslinger. If you’re feeling nostalgic for some old-school action, Tomb Raider: Underworld is also available.
The big freebie this week is Dredge, a potent mix of Lovecraftian horror and salvage fun. In case you missed it, Dredge was released in March 2023 and received positive reviews for its spooky design and an archipelago of dark secrets that you could explore for hours on end.
Starting December 5, there’ll be two more games to claim in the form of Quake 2 and Disney Pixar: Wall-E, and on December 12, you can add five more games to your library. The highlight here is Planet of Lana, a charming trek through a beautiful alien world that has been invaded by a merciless army. You can also check out the strategy game Hero’s Hour, the horror of The Coma: Recut, Electrician Simulator, and ReDrawn: The Painted Tower.
December 19 has five more games to check out, including Predator: Hunting Grounds, Nine Witches: Family Disruption, and Simulakros. Amazon wraps up the freebies on December 26 with the psychological adventure The Town of Light. On the Prime Gaming Luna channel, there’ll be even more games available to play in December, like Death Stranding, Chicken Police: Paint it Red, and The Jackbox Naughty Pack.
