Anne Hathaway is back in her cerulean sweater and she confirmed she’s heading to film The Devil Wears Prada 2!
If you don’t know, in the original 2006 film, Anne‘s character Andy wears a blue sweater in a meeting with her boss, Miranda, played by Meryl Streep. Andy laughs at a moment in the meeting, offending Miranda…and then Miranda says an iconic line about the look Andy is wearing: “But what you don’t know is that that sweater is not just blue, it’s not turquoise, it’s not lapis, it’s actually cerulean.”

Anne posted a TikTok of her in a cerulean sweater brushing her teeth with the caption, “Heading to werk #dwp2.”
Fans quickly clocked the sweater, writing comments like, “THE SWEATER,” “In a cerulean blue sweater ???,” “SHE’S WEARING THAT CERULEAN BLUE!!!!,” and “EVERYBODY STAY CALM ITS HAPPENING.”
We learned that the Devil Wears Prada 2 was headed into production and Anne, Meryl, and Emily Blunt are all reprising their roles alongside several other returning stars.
The film is set to shoot in New York and Italy. The highly anticipated sequel is will be released on May 1, 2026.
