The trailer for the new season of Anthony Mackie and Stephanie Beatriz‘s Peacock comedy series has been released!

The two actors are back for the second season of Twisted Metal, which premieres later this month. Fellow cast members include Joe Seanoa, Will Arnett, Anthony Carrigan, Mike Mitchell, Saylor Bell Curda, Patty Guggenheim, Tiana Okoye, Richard De Klerk, Michael James Shaw, and Lisa Gilroy.

Here’s the synopsis for season 2: “The stakes couldn’t be higher as John Doe (Mackie) and Quiet (Beatriz) risk their lives to compete in a dangerous demolition derby tournament. The prize? A single wish, their greatest heart’s desire, granted. The only problem is sixteen other drivers have wishes of their own.”

As they try to survive an onslaught of dangerous new foes and familiar faces alike, including the murderous clown Sweet Tooth, things get complicated for John when he reunites with his long-lost sister, the vigilante Dollface.”

Season 2 of Twisted Metal premieres with three episodes on July 31 on Peacock, followed by new episodes every Thursday through August 28.
