Applebee’s All You Can Eat Special Is Back

It’s the summer of fast food meal deals. However, one chain is encouraging diners to slow down and enjoy as many tasty treats as possible right in their favorite booth.

Applebee’s has announced the much-anticipated return of its All You Can Eat Special, which includes Boneless Wings, Riblets, and Double Crunch Shrimp.

The endless stream of summery cookout-themed bites is accompanied by bottomless fries (and coleslaw) for $15.99. However, even Applebee’s isn’t inflation-proof. This deal is a dollar more than the same unlimited combo offered for $14.99 during a limited-time run in January 2024. And like last time, this run will only be available for a limited time.

“Our All You Can Eat Boneless Wings, Riblets, and Double Crunch Shrimp deal is the perfect way for our guests to eat their fill and leave with their wallets full,” Joel Yashinsky, Applebee’s chief marketing officer, said in a press release.

There is a bit of fine print to this one too. The offer is dine-in only, meaning you can’t order all-you-can-eat takeout, and no sharing is allowed. But as long as you’re dining in, you can join Club Applebee’s for free and earn a complimentary appetizer and a free birthday dessert if you happen to be born the day you’re visiting.

The menu is far from monotonous, with six flavors of boneless wings: classic Buffalo, honey BBQ, sweet Asian chile, garlic parmesan, extra hot buffalo, and honey pepper. Voted as America’s favorite boneless wings, guests have unlimited chances to taste if Applebee’s version lives up to the hype. Every order of crisp boneless wings is served with bleu cheese or house-made buttermilk ranch dressing. Riblets are also available in two flavors: sweet Asian chile sauce or honey BBQ. The crispy battered double crunch shrimp also comes with cocktail sauce.

If cheap drinks get your appetite going, stay in your booth. Applebee’s is celebrating the final weeks of summer with a new seasonal cocktail special with its $10 Backyard Buckets. These literal buckets are available in three flavors, served with ice and garnishes, and yes, you can share them. The brand-new Watermelon Daq-A-Rita Buckett combines watermelon, Patrón Silver margarita, and Bacardi Lime daiquiri for a fruity pink drink. The Rum Breeze Bucket is a tropical teal treat mixed with Bacardí Superior Rum, Malibu Coconut Rum, blue curaçao, lemon, pineapple juice, and lemon-lime soda, and the new Citrus Twister Tea Bucket features a can of Twisted Tea Hard Iced Tea mixed with Absolut Citron. It’s no $1 dollarita, but it’s at least 10 times the size, making it a lot of booze in your bucket for relatively little cash.

Those who prefer to sip out of a more traditional glass can also enjoy summertime cocktail specials, including a new  $5 Backyard Blackberry Lemonade mixed with Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Ole Smoky Blackberry Moonshine, lemon sour, and lemonade. Twisted Tea Hard Iced Tea is going for just $4, and guests who don’t drink alcohol can also indulge with a new strawberry pop candy topped Rockin’ Poppin’ Strawberry Lemonade for $4.50. And 50 cents of each lemonade will be donated to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for childhood cancer.

“Applebee’s is one of ALSF’s first partners, and over the years, their commitment to the cause has only grown. Their prominence and national reach have helped to introduce countless people to ALSF and raised more than $16 million in the fight against childhood cancer,” Liz Scott, Alex’s mom and co-executive director of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, added in the statement. “We are truly grateful for their continued partnership to help find cures and support families during their child’s treatment and beyond.”
