April King Joins Artist Collective Entertainment as Partner
April King has joined talent agency Artist Collective Entertainment (ACE) as a partner.
King moves to the company from WME, where she spent two years. She brings to ACE her roster of artists including P-Valley star Brandee Evans, Grammy-nominated singer and actress Keri Hilson, former Destiny’s Child singer LeToya Luckett and Polite Society‘s Priya Kansara.
Prior to WME, King spent nine years at ICM. She got her start in the talent management business as a trainee at William Morris Agency.
“I couldn’t be more excited to be joining ACE as I make the jump into management after being an agent for my entire career,” King said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. “I believe ACE is at the pinnacle of discovering and promoting multi-hyphenates across verticals, and it is a natural fit as I continue to grow my business and fiercely advocate for diverse voices across all areas of entertainment.”
ACE was established in 2023, by founding partners Nick Roses, Brian Sher, Eric Tomosunas, and Mona Scott-Young. The company says it “develops and advocates for their multi-hyphenate, multicultural, and diverse clientele” and clients include Kandi Burruss, Busta Rhymes, DeVon Franklin and Wendy Raquel Robinson. King joins ACE’s current partners Laura Pallas and Gail Tassell.
In a joint statement, the founding partners jointly told THR “we are thrilled to welcome April to the ACE family. We could not imagine a better partner who has emulated our values for her entire career. She joins our persistent advocacy and bold vision to not just shape the future of the entertainment industry—but set a new, unmatched standard for excellence and transformative representation.”
