Are You Team Crew Socks? This Hanes Set Is on Sale for Just $1 Apiece

Internet debates aren’t rare, but I have to admit I’m surprised to see the back and forth between Millennials and Gen Z about…socks. I completely understand debating which brand is the most comfortable, but trying to agree on the correct length between ankle and crew socks is something new. Millennials are devoted to ankle socks (Feetures, in my case), Gen Z says crew socks are more on-point, and many of us from both generations now find ourselves perplexed in the middle. If you’re road-testing both styles and searching for crew socks you might love, don’t miss this Hanes deal while each pair is on sale for just $1 at Amazon.

I can’t say I’m ready to give up on ankle socks, especially when I run, but I definitely want to give crew socks a solid try. Whenever I’m going to dip my toes into the trendy waters, I like to rely on products from brands I already know and love, and in this case that’s Hanes. And the on-sale set of crew socks in question are available in both white and gray. The $10 on-sale price tag for 10 socks drew me in, but the 35,900 perfect ratings and impressive 4,400 five-star reviews are sealing the deal.

“I am very picky when it comes to my socks. These were perfect! They are soft, comfortable, and best of all, they are not very tight,” wrote one five-star reviewer. “These are the best socks I’ve ever owned,” shared another shopper. They added that the socks have an ideal thickness that’s comfortable and not too heavy for summertime wear, and agreed with the other reviewer about the socks’ thickness: “Highly recommend, especially for anyone with swelling or foot issues—these socks are not tight.”

I never rely on high praise alone. Instead, I make sure socks have my must-haves, too, and the Hanes crew socks seem to check every box. They’re made from a combination of cotton, polyester, and spandex with cushioned bottoms and reinforced toes and heels, which the brand says allows the socks to form to your feet—a feature that also makes socks feel more comfortable. The seams are smooth to avoid tightness and excessive rubbing.  What’s more, the socks are even moisture-wicking to sustain tough workouts or simple everyday wear.

“I wear them during my workouts, and they don’t slip or roll down. They keep my feet cool and dry,” shared one shopper. “I wear them every day for work where I walk approximately 15,000 steps every day. These are thick enough to feel comfortable, but not too thick to where they make you feel like your feet are boiling hot,” wrote another reviewer who said the socks are “just wonderful.”

I don’t think any of us have to be all in on one particular sock style, but I definitely see the benefits of crew socks because covering my ankles does seem cozier (and perhaps cooler, too). So, join me and pick up Hanes crew socks while the set is on sale for $10 at Amazon, or stay true to your Millennials roots by shopping for new ankle socks below.
