Xavier Weaver background, 2024 season
Weaver enters his second NFL season and with the Cardinals. He signed with the Cardinals as a rookie free agent last year and made the 53-man roster. He was inactive for 15 of the team’s 17 games and played in two. He did not have a reception and was targeted twice in 57 offensive snaps.
Xavier Weaver 2025 contract details, cap hit
He enters the second year of the three-year contract he signed as a rookie free agent. He is scheduled to make $960,000 in 2025 if he makes the roster and will count $970,000 against the salary cap.

Weaver impressed the coaches but didn’t get many opportunities. Can he take the next step?
He is officially a bubble player vying for one of the one or two receiver spots on the roster behind the four that seem locked in with Marvin Harrison Jr., Michael Wilson, Zay Jones and Greg Dortch.
