Austin Butler debuted a shaved head look while honoring his Dune: Part Two director last night!

The 33-year-old actor was in attendance for the 2024 SFFILM Awards Night honoring director Denis Villeneuve on Monday (December 9) in San Francisco, Calif. Austin presented Denis with the Irving M. Levin Award for Film Direction at the event.

At the celebration, Austin posed with Denis, Denis‘ wife, producer Tanya Lapointe, Jessica Fairbanks, the Director Of Programming at SFFILM, and Anne Lai, the Executive Director at SFFILM.

When we last saw Austin, he was sporting his signature longer blonde hair.

If you didn’t see, Dune: Part Two scored two nominations at the 2025 Golden Globes: Best Picture in the drama category, and Best Original Score. The Golden Globes air on Sunday (January 5).
